Agreement to Terms
By purchasing or using products from BalanceWise Books, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not purchase or use our products.
Product Description
BalanceWise Books offers digital products, including but not limited to the Income & Expense Tracker, which is a Google Sheets-based bookkeeping tool. All products are delivered digitally.
License Grant
When you purchase the Income & Expense Tracker or other digital products from BalanceWise Books, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for your individual or business purposes.
You MAY:
- Use the tracker for all of your personal and business needs
- Access the tracker on multiple devices
- Share access with your accountant or bookkeeper for professional services
- Make backup copies for your own use
You MAY NOT:
- Share your license key or product access link with others
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the product
- Remove copyright notices or branding from the product
- Claim the product as your own work
- Use the product for any illegal purposes
Purchases and Payment
All purchases are processed through our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy. Prices are listed in US dollars unless otherwise specified. Payment is required at the time of purchase.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final. Once you receive access to the product and your license key, we cannot offer refunds. We encourage you to review all product information carefully before purchasing.
If you experience technical issues with the product, please contact us at meta@balancewisebooks.com and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Product Delivery
Digital products are delivered immediately after purchase via email and through your customer account. You will receive:
- A license key (for products requiring activation)
- Access link to the product
- Setup instructions and documentation
It is your responsibility to save and secure your license key and access information.
Technical Requirements
The Income & Expense Tracker requires:
- A Google Account (free)
- Internet connection
- Compatible web browser or Google Sheets app
You are responsible for ensuring you meet these requirements before purchasing.
Product Updates
We may occasionally update or improve our products. When significant updates are available, we will notify customers via email. You may choose to upgrade to the latest version at no additional cost.
Existing copies of the product you have already made will not automatically update. You are responsible for obtaining updated versions if desired.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we strive to ensure accuracy and reliability, we do not guarantee that the product will be error-free or meet all your requirements.

Our total liability for any claim related to our products shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product.
Data and Privacy
Any financial data you enter into the Income & Expense Tracker is stored in YOUR Google Drive and is not accessible to BalanceWise Books. You are responsible for:
- The security of your Google Account
- Backing up your data
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your license key

Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and materials in our products are the intellectual property of BalanceWise Books and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

We provide email support at meta@balancewisebooks.com with a response time of within 48 hours during business days. Support is provided for product setup, technical issues, and usage questions.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our products if we believe you have violated these Terms of Service, engaged in fraudulent activity, or misused the product in any way.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
